Electrical work which is carried out by a competent skilled electrician who is up to date and adheres to the current British Standard Wiring Regulations (BS7671 18th Edition Amendment 3) will ensure that you and your property are safe.
If you are concerned that your fire alarm system isn't up to the new Scottish Government Legislation, this is something any homeowner can rectify themselves using battery operated smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms.
